Hi there, I have recently found two Black and white raku vases with a large R on the bases, not a stamp as such but rather looks like it’s been ‘written’ in, did Rick Rudd ever sign his works like this with a big R? Thanks

Re: Rick Rudd
Not that he shared with us and he stopped using that mark in 1977.
He hasn't signed his work since then. Cheers.
Ray Rogers used an R mark ....?
Can you post a pic please aesop?

Re: Rick Rudd
The easiest way would be to send them to the site on newzealandpottery@gmail.com and I will post them for you ![Smile](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Rick Rudd
This is the same mark that's turned up lately on the NZ studio pottery Facebook page, initially as a Robyn Stewart possibke, and then suggested as being by someone associated with Charles Newton-Broad - the work looks very similar stylistically to the latter.
