I would say that the body of the teapot is definitely a 787.
The lid, which doesn't appear to fit properly looks like a replacement .....?
The 787 lid sits low inside the rim ..... check the photo

Either way it is no longer mine as the handle on closer inspection had a hairline crack all way round it and i sent it back for refund Sad
Im still dubious about lid but the trader was adamant it was the original. go figure

Granted but Ive wanted that shape teapot since first seeing it in Vals book.

It just gives me something again to hunt for.

The photo in Val Monk's book matches the Sapphire teapot that is listed atm ....
Who knows maybe this teapot has another shape number??
