There is a Christine Purdow potter, but I can't find a photo of her work.
Those fish reminded me of Splashy, but I'm not sure if it's one and the same....?

Hmmm those pots would be stoneware, which is high fired.
Though that was in 1985 and during the 1990's a lot of potters changed to making low fired pottery. Can't be 100% that they are the same Purdow though, unless someone can confirm this.

This dish reminded me of your fishy dish.
There are no markings on the base and it is made of stoneware clay.
The initials inside the dish are E R ?something.
