We have a Philip Hadfield in the Gallery and perhaps this is another of his marks on the big platter?

The CL is familiar, but I'm brain dead atm .... hopefully something will come to me.

I think the first one is Roger King from the Hawkes Bay, see here http://www.nzpotters.com/PottersMarks/PottersMark_Image.cfm?potterID=1121

I agree that they are not exactly the same. I was wondering if the hand had changed over time, but my the two things that are similar, are that at first glance it looks like KMG rather than King on both, and that neither g has a tail. I was thinking of all the Waimea pottery I have seen, and I don't think any one had exactly the same Wp as another. Will keep searching.

Just to add that Waimea Pottery had an endless stream of potters working there and they all signed their work WP and that is why they look different. Yes we will look out for more confirmation on the King mark.

Col Levy is an Australian potter.

Here is a link to his marks on the Australian Potters Marks site.

It says he used impressed and incised marks.

https://www.flickr.com/groups/1281707@N21/discuss/72157629229122576/

Scroll down to see his CL mark like above.

This mark is often attributed to Len Castle, but now we know who it belongs to.

I will add his mark and pot to the Australian Studio Potters on the site.

Sorry I've been working today and couldn't get back to this.
