It's always tricky with that ad because of the small size and lack of detail.
In the ad the 752 appears to have a blip on the handle but not so the 154.
mrnarna's pic appears to have the blip but I think that may just be a break in the gilding/glaze.
I see mrnarna's one as 754 at the moment, too.
Hopefully one day we will see the two shapes side by side.

A Calypso 752 for the gallery.
I just noticed that I have had a yellow calypso 752 shape cup on my kitchen shelve all along.
Here it is.

Aha now that's more like it. What an amazing colour! Thanks so much haselnuss, I will happily add it to the gallery tomorrow.

This is the shape that Crown Lynn described as a Tulip.
Lets put the 754 and the 752 side by side now ....

Ev, I think the title may be wrong.
Here's a nice example on tm of what appears to be a 752:

After a funeral, yesterday, we went for bite to eat in the hall... All the cups were lined up ready to be filled with Tea/coffee. There were all the shapes! (just wished I had taken a handbag to fill!!) I saw at least 5 shapes of cups, mainly the 754 shape !!!
This is where all the old cups are; in the church Halls around the country! .... LOL

My first 752 and it took a rather long time to find
752 comparisons
Buying on trademe can be tricky when photographer's angles don't give you the picture you want to see. This purchase was a gamble: 752 or 754?
Thanks to the pictures above by haselnuss and Ev I was pretty sure, and thankfully the gamble paid off. The cup is part of a trio. Cup and saucer have Crown Lynn star stamp so are likely a match but the rimmed B&B in similar if not same glaze (not shown) has South Pacific so I have issues with that being a match too.
As we already have photos of 752 (above) I have not shot this as a single pic but as a montage showing comparisons with other shapes as close in date as I have in my collection. Comparison photos have the cups side by side: they are the same scale, which is useful for size comparison. A WARNING though: my two 754s are different sizes (larger shown); my two early (note the handle) 781s are different sizes. (I have 753s in different sizes too.)
top row: 752 cup, 75mm H x 86 OD top; cup and saucer
row 2. 752 and 754. I was surprised to see that the 752 is taller. Another 754 I have is even shorter. I do not have a 754 close in age to my 752 but I have recently posted 754s from Jim's collection in a variety of sizes. Warning: the largest of Jim's 754s, which is about the same age is actually bigger than my 752! (752 vs 754: 75 x 86 vs 77 x 88)

row 3. 752, "832", 754. Similar shapes but all completely different profiles.
On looking again it seems that the "832" is based on the 754: it is higher and wider but the profile is (almost?) identical.
bottom row. 752 and 781. Cups called tulips. The Fleurette is my largest early 781.
My other 781 with similar handle is slightly smaller and later 781s with the different handle (impressed New Zealand and raised Made in New Zealand marks) are all smaller still. I do not see evidence of 752 and 781 being made at the same time: as different as the shapes are I view the 781 as a replacement tulip shape.
