Brendan Adams "Tripod Cup"
from Hospice shop
Brendan Adams castware "Tripod Cup".
I have seen Brendan Adams salt and peppers, both here and on tm so
it was a pleasure to find something that suited my own collection.
I see on his webpage that he has handthrown mugs too.
88mm H x 76 OD top, but about 130 at widest incl handle

Re: Brendan Adams "Tripod Cup"
Ta Val,
Expensive for opshop too at $3.
But much better value than some of their other $3 NZ pottery offerings!
I followed your link to his web page and saw some interesting things.
My cup is not there, shape sure but not colour or pattern.
Maybe it is older than the archive pics.
Another day ...
I just spotted some of these cups on special tripod (trefoil?) saucers on the. ASP blog.

Brendan Adams Tea Cups
"Pentapod" perhaps, Kat, but Brendan hasn't bothered with such a name.
His site won't give me a direct link to these cups so follow the directions below.
Go to badams.co.nz then click on "Domestic Ware" then click on "Archived Domestic Ware" then click on "Cups" and you will see "Tea Cups Green Glaze", which is as close as you get.
Same shape but different deco.
As we saw today, when Kat dropped some goodies off for me, these are smaller than the tripod mugs or as Brendan would have it, cups.
'twould be nice to collect all Brendan's castware cup shapes but they'll have to be second hand as I have already spent up on the handmade one (linked below) and there are other potters to support. https://www.newzealandpottery.net/t6684-brendan-adams-non-slip-mug
Thanks for the contribution Kat. I need a "Wave Cup" and a "Cone Cup" now!

Tripod mugs
I saw the pink one and grabbed it and then i saw the yellow one. I had one in each hand. Standing in the shop... contemplating umm which shall I leave behind? Oh well best they both come home with me, as i couldn't decide hahaha
I checked out the blog from a previous thread and saw that they come with a quirky shaped saucer. I'll be on the look out for one of those
