Who is RB?

I picked up this cute little jar and lid with no handle this week because the colour is lovely and it was a bit different. It would be lovely to know who made it as i have had no luck searching the mark myself. It seems sort of rustically made and is signed RB 7197, does any body have any ideas?

This is beautifully made, but how odd that the mark is roughly scratched in by hand ..?

Thanks Ev i worked out how to post them That is probably right i was thinking maybe it was to do with an order in which it was made but it seems more realistic to be the date 7/1/97. It is quite cute!
