Well spotted.
One of those sold on TMe recently for $175 (???) I think.
It isn't easy to be sure so many years after the event, but this is most likely hand thrown at Crown Lynn, then hand painted, quite possibly by Owen Salisbury who had a banding wheel at home.

This is fantastic M.V.Retro as it is a Crown Lynn Handpotted shape that we don't have, that has been decorated by Royal Oak.  I will replace the pic in the Handpotted Gallery with your wonderful piece when I get a chance.
