I have this coffee set with 4 mugs a suger bowl milk jug and pot. It has been on a shelf of my parents wall unit for as long as I can remember. I don't think it has ever been used. Trying to find info on it and maybe a buyer. Thanks. Sama coffee set. Img_2010

Hi there and welcome to the site.

SAMA was the original name for Royal Oak pottery that was operated by Owen Salisbury and Val Monk wrote this about them.

Have just found out that Sama is an amalgamation of two surnames.. Owen SAlisbury and Arthur MArtin. They were business partners for some time. Arthur Martin did the marketing side of things. An educated guess puts Sama at the early 1970s for about 5 years."

There are some pieces and info on the site if you search 'Sama'

This is an amazing set as it has the earlier version of the standardised RO shapes and is in such perfect condition.

Unfortunately there is not much of a market for Royal Oak and whole coffee sets often sell for $10 or less.
