Joyce Fox made pottery for many years and was a pottery tutor as well.

Joyce Fox Empty Is this fabulous vase made by Joyce Fox?

Post  mumof1 Mon 29 Jul - 16:31

Joyce Fox Dsc06529
This fabulous vase is a huge 320mm high and around 200mm diameter. It also weighs a ton!

This is the mark, quite tiny in comparison to the size of the base, so I am hoping I am right.

stoneware mug by Joyce Fox, fox mark

I'm sure I've had something else with the fox mark before but it doesn't appear in a search.

Thanks to Louise de Varga who gave me the info on the dots on the Joyce Fox salt and peppers Smile

"There are dots and sometimes lines. Before the pairs were put into the kiln they were given matching identification marks. This is so they could be matched up as a couple. Arranged marriage if you like."
